We are looking for dynamic and nurturing senior residential support workers for a 3 bed EBD children's home in the city of Oxford.

About the Role
​
As the Ofsted registered Responsible Individual, you will be confident and knowledgeable in the application of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and will hold the Responsible Individual role across both of the children’s homes. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality care across our children’s homes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, support, and therapeutic care.

This role is about more than compliance — it’s about creating a culture of care where children feel safe, valued, and empowered. You’ll work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure services are responsive, inclusive, and focused on achieving the best outcomes for every child.
You will be the public face of the organisation, building string and positive relatiinships with partner professionals and stakeholders as well as liaisng directly with Ofsted. In addition, you’ll provide strategic leadership to the Registered Managers and guide them through the exciting process of opening and embedding new homes. You will have a real chance to shape the service from it's inception through to outstanding!

About You
You will be a highly motivated individual with a creative ambition to improve and shape services to meet the needs of children who live in the children’s homes. Your knowledge in childcare legislation, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards (the SCCIF) will help develop the model of intervention which allows children to begin to heal from past trauma that they might have experienced.
As the Responsible Individual and a strong leader with a proven record of success, you will be experienced in managing children’s residential homes and services, leading teams, inspiring, empowering, and supporting staff to thrive.
You will ideally have experience of setting up and registering new children's homes, inclusing the develoment and implementation of policies and proceedures.
You will be able to pass the Ofsted regstration process for the role of Responsible Individual including the Fit Persons Interview.
You’ll need a full driving licence and the flexibility to work across both homes and attend meetings as required.
